시루떡 is the oldest form of tteok variance in Korean history, traditionally made by steaming rice or glutinous rice flour in a “siru” (시루), a large earthenware vessel used for steaming which gives “sirutteok” its name. I like sirutteok especially the aroma and the taste from azuki bean, not too chewy when it bite and not too sweet like usual taste of tteok. I capture my sirutteok brought from Korean supermarket before I ate them ^^
