인절미 is a kind of rice cake made by beating steamed glutinous rice until it is sticky and then cutting it into square pieces and covering it with bean flour. It is usually set on the breakfast table especially prepared in celebration of a baby’s first birthday. Though injeolmi tastes very good itself, it is even more delicious with sweet syrup, someday I would like to eat injeolmi with sweet syrup . Injeolmi is also considered a high quality tteok, used for janchi (잔치, party, feast, or banquet) in Korea.
so last week, I bought injeolmi in Korean supermarket and I want to share some photos before I ate them ha ha ha
