Insa-dong known as an area that packed with traditional Korean crafts, museums and restaurants. It is one of the busiest place to where tourists looking for some excitement over Seoul and Korean taste. One of the places that need to visit in around Insa-dong is the Beautiful Tea Museum.

아름다운 차박물관 which also means as Beautiful Tea Museum is a traditional tea house for those who are crave for a cup of tea. Here, you could take a look at the exquisite artworks of porcelain, traditional potteries and tea cups. There is also a section for you to learn diversified types of tea that come from different parts of Korea, China, India, Europe, Japan, and more others. At around 130 types of tea are collected inside.

There is also a provision where you can purchase the art works while enjoying the beautiful Korean house. Inside, you can also have sipped a cup of tea while enjoying the airy and peaceful café. Pages and pages of teas in their menu will overwhelm you. But do not worry if you are not a tea drinker, because they also have coffee to over along with crepes and waffles as side menus.  This beautiful place can be accessed from Jonaggak station and took only a few minutes of walking from the Insa-dong. The museum remains open throughout the year with no entry fees and free admission. It is also open from morning to night.

Here I try 유자차 or citron tea as I need to energize myself with vitamin c rich tea. It will only cost you 7,000 won and they also bring along a pot of hot water where you can refill your tea cup.
