Hate it or Love it, Korea turns to a sauna during the hot and humid season of Summer.
For me, I dread summer for the humidity. However, it is also the chance for me to really enjoy some of the cold and refreshing food that summer offers in Korea.
Patbingsu 팥빙수
Shaved ice! Topped with delicious azuki beans and other toppings of your choice! Such as Strawberries, ice-cream, tteoks or cereal flakes! You may also opt for Matcha green tea or coffee flavor! Definitely the best bet for the season!
Kongguksu 콩국수
Kongguksu is served cold in a soy bean broth. It is then usually topped with hard-boiled egg and julienned cucumber. Simply ma-shi-eo-yo (맛있어요)!
Chogyeguksu 초계국수
Craving for something cold and a bit sour-flavor? Try Chogyeguksu! This Northern Korea dish is not very common in South Korea.
Find the delicacy in 초계국수.kr to find out more about the places do try this unique Summer Food!
